Jena-Lisa Jones, an alleged survivor of sexual abuse connected to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, gave emotional testimony Tuesday at a hearing in Palm Beach, Florida.

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee held the field hearing as part of the investigation into the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation and document release.

During opening statements, Jones spoke about how her effort to hold the government accountable for the handling of the Epstein investigation “caused harm all over again.” She explained how when the Department of Justice released the batch of Epstein files, survivors’ names, Social Security numbers, and other “deeply personal” information was exposed.
