EU membership for Ukraine, European involvement in peace talks and a comprehensive bilateral drone deal were all on the agenda as Chancellor Merz hosted President Zelenskyy in Berlin. Zelenskyy’s visit had been kept under wraps for security reasons. With peace talks at a standstill, the Ukrainian leader is pushing for continued support from his European allies.
