Iran announced the vital trade chokepoint was open to all commercial vessels for the remainder of the ceasefire. President Trump said Iran committed to never closing the waterway again, but that a US naval blockade will continue until a deal with Iran is “100% complete.” The Trump administration is considering unfreezing $20 billion in Iranian assets as part of ongoing talks, sources say.

Trump also said the US will acquire Iran’s enriched uranium and that no money would “exchange hands.”
