Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told members of the House Oversight Committee that he found the invitation to Jeffrey Epstein’s island to be unsettling, according to a source in the room. Lutnick also tried to walk back his previous claims about Epstein potentially using blackmail to get the plea deal he received during his criminal case, the source said.
