Pakistan’s prime minister has offered to host peace talks between the US and Iran. Shehbaz Sharif posted a message on X saying that "Pakistan stands ready and honoured to be the host to facilitate meaningful and conclusive talks" to end three and a half weeks of war in the Middle East.
Pakistan is among several countries pushing for a diplomatic solution to the Iran war. US President Donald Trump says his envoys are already talking to Iranian officials, but Tehran denies that.
