Two pilots are dead, dozens of people are injured and New York’s LaGuardia Airport was closed Monday morning after an Air Canada Express jet collided with a fire truck on a runway late on Sunday, officials said. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul spoke at a press conference to provide updates on the reopening of LaGuardia and the status of the crash investigation.
