From AFP News Agency.

Scottish National Party (SNP) leader and Scotland’s First Minister John Swinney vows to stand up to the hard-right, anti-immigration Reform UK party and its leader, Nigel Farage, after Reform made gains in local and regional elections across England, Scotland and Wales. "What is coming our way is the likelihood of Farage being the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom," he says. "We need to have the protection of being an independent country from being affected and influenced by the election of a Farage government." SOUNDBITE
