Nathan Schloegl, a former member of the U.S. military and the Coast Guard, is now a NICU nurse working in the neonatal intensive care unit at Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was inspired to become a nurse when his son was admitted to the NICU after he was born, and he relied on the nurse’s support during the difficult time. #TODAYShow
