Trump postpones strikes against Iran power plants due to “productive” talks with Tehran | BBC News

From BBC News.

US President Donald Trump has said there have been "productive conversations" about a "complete and total resolution" to the conflict in the Middle East.

He said he will "postpone any and all strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure" for a five day period.

On Saturday night, Trump gave Iran a 48-hour deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz – or, he said, the US would "obliterate" Iranian power plants, "starting with the biggest one first".
