UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer says he welomes reported talks between the United States and Iran, following US President Donald Trump’s announcement that he is halting strikes against Iranian power plants and energy facilities. "I welcome the talks reported between the US and Ian," Starmer tells a parliamentary committee, adding the UK was "aware" the discussions were happening.
