British military personnel carried out an airborne operation to deliver urgent medical support for a suspected Hantavirus patient on a remote South Atlantic island.

An army specialist team parachuted onto Britain’s most remote overseas territory Tristan da Cunha with vital oxygen supplies, where one of three British nationals diagnosed with suspected hantavirus linked to the outbreak on the MV Hondius cruise ship is located.
