From Global News.
A Baltimore truck driver is out of hospital and back home in Maryland after his truck was hit by the landing gear of a United Airlines jet landing at Newark Airport. The aircraft also struck a light pole before safely landing.
The truck driver’s father says Warren Boardley Junior is shaken up physically and mentally, but he is grateful his son is alive.
"Nobody ever expects an airplane to drop out of the sky and hit a truck, you know, especially with my child in it," the father said.
Dashcam footage captured by an H&S Bakery truck shows the moment of the collision. The driver did not sustain any serious injuries, the truck was not damaged, and the products inside were untouched, the report said.
