The Iran war and resulting Strait of Hormuz blockades have pushed oil prices to a four-year high, with no signs of relief anytime soon.

“These consequences are not cumulative. They are exponential,” warns United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, “And the longer this vital artery is choked, the harder it will be to reverse the damage and the higher the cost to humanity.”
