Three people, two of them seriously ill, have been evacuated from a cruise ship hit by a deadly hantavirus outbreak and marooned for days off the coast of Cape Verde, the World Health Organization said. The WHO identified eight confirmed or suspected cases of the Andes strain of the virus, which can spread person-to-person.
