As the 2026 Venice Biennale — the world’s largest contemporary art exhibition — opens, around a hundred pro-Palestine activists march through the Arsenale neighbourhood to protest the presence of the Israeli pavilion. The march proceeds peacefully, with demonstrators chanting anti-Israel slogans and unfurling pro-Palestine banners.
