Russia, Ukraine accuse each other of breaking ceasefire

From PBS NewsHour.

Russia and Ukraine are accusing each other of breaking a unilateral cease-fire announced by Kyiv that was supposed to take effect Tuesday evening.

Russia claimed its air defenses shot down more than 50 Ukrainian drones, one of which killed five people in occupied Crimea.

Ukrainian officials said a Russian drone strike killed two people at this kindergarten in the Northeastern city of Sumy.

The U.N. says Russian attacks have killed at least 70 Ukrainian civilians since last Friday and wounded more than 500 others.
