U.S. President Donald Trump has condemned Iran’s response to the latest U.S. peace proposal.

The White House had presented a 14-point plan that required Iran to halt its nuclear program.

After days of delays, Tehran finally delivered its response. It’s not clear what they said but President Trump posted on social media calling the response “totally unacceptable.”

As Vincent McAviney reports, it’s unclear what this means for the fragile ceasefire or the blockades in the Strait of Hormuz.
