Iran warns of “surprising” new methods of warfare if attacked again as Trump rejects peace proposal

From Global News.

If Iran were to be attacked again, its enemies would face "surprising" new weapons, methods, and arenas of warfare, Iranian military spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia said in an interview aired on Sunday.

Vessels whose states follow U.S. sanctions against Iran will face difficulties crossing the Strait of Hormuz, he added.

The Iranian message came just before U.S. President Donald Trump rejected Tehran’s response to a U.S. peace proposal to end more than two months of fighting and begin peace talks.

Relative calm prevailed around the Strait of Hormuz early on Sunday after days of sporadic flare-ups. Recent days have seen the biggest flare-ups in fighting in and around the strait since a ceasefire began a month ago, and the United Arab Emirates came under renewed attack on Friday.
