Jay Leno welcomes the founder and CEO of Czinger Vehicles, Lukas Czinger, for a deep dive into the most advanced American supercar ever built: the Czinger 21C. Unlike traditional boutiques that use "crate" engines, Czinger has engineered and built their own 2.88L twin-turbo V8 from scratch,a power-dense masterpiece that redlines at a staggering 11,000 RPM. In this episode, Jay explores the revolutionary Divergent manufacturing process, where the chassis and engine components are 3D printed using laser-melted metal powders. This "digital nervous system" allows for a hyper-efficient structure where material is only placed exactly where it’s needed.
