From Global News.
After Global News reported that an Alberta family found their new truck, purchased from a dealership, had previously been reported stolen, the Ponoka business has refunded the family’s money following the RCMP’s seizure of the vehicle.
Ashu Pathak never thought buying a truck would turn into such a headache, leaving him without a truck and the money, until Kaizen Auto Group’s Summit Ram decided to issue a refund.
But as Sarah Komadina explains, police say such situations are an ongoing problem that leaves innocent consumers on the hook.
