From Global News.

At least nine people are dead and 13 others wounded after a mass shooting at a Turkish school in the city Kahramanmaraş on Wednesday.

The violence took place in two separate classrooms at Ayser Calik Secondary School, where the teenaged shooter opened fire at fellow students. Eight children were killed as well as one teacher, Turkey’s Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi told reporters.

The 14-year-old assailant, who was reportedly killed, used weapons believed to belong to his father; a retired police officer, authorities say.

This marks the second school shooting in Turkey in just two days. On Tuesday morning, 16 were wounded when an 18-year-old former student opened fire at Ahmet Koyuncu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Siverek.
