Britain’s King Charles III tells the US Congress that sustained Western unity is needed to secure peace in Ukraine, as the war continues to test NATO’s resolve. "That same, unyielding resolve is needed for the defence of Ukraine…to secure a truly just and lasting peace," he says, adding that the alliance’s strength lies at "the heart of NATO" and warning that new threats demand stronger defense efforts.
