From DW News.
Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz says his relationship with Donald Trump is as good as ever – despite drawing the anger of Trump over the Iran war. On Tuesday Trump posted on his Truth Social platform that Merz thinks it’s "OK for Iran to have a nuclear weapon" – which the chancellor never said. Trump added that it was no wonder Germany is doing so poorly.
It was triggered by comments Merz made on Monday: He said the US has no strategy in the war and Iran is humiliating the Americans.
