US Fed chief plans to stay on as ‘low profile’ central bank governor | AFP

From AFP News Agency.

US Federal Reserve chief Jerome Powell says that he intends to stay at the central bank as a governor even after his chairman term ends, adding he is "encouraged" by the Justice Department’s move to drop an investigation into him and the central bank. "After my term as chair ends on May 15, I will continue to serve as a governor for a period of time to be determined," Powell says, reiterating he will not leave the Fed until the probe is "well and truly over".
