Dutch couple get married in second-hand clothes to highlight sustainability | AFP

From AFP News Agency.

Dutch couple Lara Peters and Mathijs Dordregter chose sustainability as the theme of their wedding.

They and their guests all wore second-hand outfits, travelled to the ceremony by bike or public transport, and the meal was vegetarian. The celebration took place in the busiest train station in the Netherlands.

"Free Fashion", a Dutch foundation devoted to recycling clothing to combat waste, helped organise the event and is trying to encourage couples to rethink their clothing choices for their wedding day.
