French President Emmanuel Macron arrives at Nairobi International Airport in Kenya ahead of a meeting with his Kenyan counterpart William Ruto on the second day of the French president’s tour of Africa, which aims to forge a “renewed relationship” between France and Africa, partly driven by the rifts with former French-speaking colonies that have emerged during his two terms in office.
