“Extremely unprecedented”: Nova Scotia kids Jack and Lilly Sullivan still missing 1 year later

From Global News.

Lilly and Jack Sullivan, aged six and four at the time, were reported missing from their home in Lansdowne Station in Pictou County, N.S., on May 2, 2025.

It was reported to the police at the time that the children had wandered away from their family property. A year later, investigators have few answers about what happened to them.

"For two children to go missing at the same time and a year later to have no real investigative indicators, given that the police are still asking for tips and are actually also stating that they don’t believe foul play is involved, this is extremely unprecedented," said Michael Arntfield, Western University professor and criminologist.
