Beijing has tested Trump’s blockade, but not because it desparately needs the oil being carried out of the gulf. China expert Eyck Freymann says China is testing, probing the United States when its forces are stretched and its weapons stocks are running down.

We interviewed Freymann, a Hoover Fellow at Stanford University and an expert on global energy policies and China.
