At a Turning Point USA event, Vice President JD Vance claimed that "Jeffrey Epstein hated Donald Trump and Donald Trump hated Jeffrey Epstein," after being asked about public trust and President Donald Trump claiming the Epstein files were a "hoax."

The VP continued by saying there should be an investigation.

"When you see evidence of sexual assault, sexual misconduct, regardless of whether you’re powerful or not, in fact, you should probably investigate it more if you’re a powerful person, right?" Vance said.
