Londoners stream into the city by foot as strike action on the Underground train network disrupt services. Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) walked out from 12 noon on 21 April for 24 hours over plans by Transport for London (TfL) to condense the working week into four days. A second strike is planned for 23 April.
