A small community near Kingston, Ont. is reeling tonight after police laid charges in connection with the death of a youth following an incident at a local school back in March.

First responders were called to a medical emergency at a Bath Public School, where a student was taken to the hospital and later died. Another youth has now been charged with criminal harassment and indignity to a human body, among other charges.

As residents try to process the news, the school board is also stepping in with new supports and an internal review.
