After disappearing for several months following maintenance work on the waterway, the Eisbach wave, a famous river surfing spot in Munich, is back in the Bavarian city. Just hours after local authorities decided to lift the ban on surfing at the urban hotspot, surf enthusiasts and tourists flock to the river to get a glimpse of the restored crest, some catching a wave themselves.
