From the assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner to a visit from King Charles, it has been a very busy week in Washington, D.C.

King Charles and Queen Camilla spent four days in the United States. Officially, the trip was meant to commemorate the 250th anniversary of America’s Declaration of Independence from British rule – but there was a lot at stake, as the governments of the two countries have been at odds over the U.S. war in Iran.

Meanwhile, oil prices reached a four-year high this week with no sign of progress on opening the Strait of Hormuz.
