At least eight people are dead, including a Hezbollah commander, and over 30 were injured in an overnight Israeli drone strike in Beirut on March 12.

The strike hit the city’s famous Corniche promenade, a popular seaside destination. The attack marks an escalation in the types of locations Israel is willing to target in its fight against Hezbollah.
