A Costco customer is suing the company in federal court. The shopper who filed the nationwide class action suit wants a declaration that the company must return ​to customers any refunds it receives for tariffs.

Costco sued the Trump administration in December, hoping to secure a refund if the Supreme Court declared the tariffs illegal. The justices overturned some of the tariffs last month, saying Trump had exceeded his authority.
