A Calgary woman is warning others to make sure the doors and windows of their home are locked before turning in for the night, after an intruder broke into her home while she slept.

Brooklyn Fox, a student at Mount Royal University, said it wasn’t until the next morning when she and her boyfriend checked the security camera footage that they realized what had happened.

The break-and-enter happened at her 9A Street Northeast home in the community of Bridgeland/Riverside on Tuesday around 2 a.m.

Craig Momney spoke to the couple about the ordeal – and their warning to others.
