The United States likely carried out the strike on a girls school in Iran, according to reports from Reuters, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The Washington Post citing anonymous sources familiar with an ongoing U.S. military investigation. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said at a press conference that investigation into the bombing is ongoing and maintained that the US "never targets civilians," draw contrast with Iran.
