Los Angeles’ winter heatwave could play havoc on Hollywood’s Oscars ceremony. Los Angeles is dealing with a record-breaking 93 degrees Friday, with temperatures expected to hit around 85 degrees on Oscar Sunday. Inside Edition counted more than half a dozen large air conditioning systems pumping cool air onto the red carpet and an elaborate tent providing shade. Inside Edition got a sneak peak of the Governors Ball, where celebrities will be indulging after the big awards show.
