Tim’s elastic lobster, or is it a crayfish? Either way it has 6 legs. A folk toy dating from 1991 – like all the other toys on the table today – you pull a string which winds up a little spindle underneath which connects to a rubber band. Let go and as the spindle unwinds, the lobster scuttles across the table. Walkies!
Another craft style toy with a little wooden (gingerbread?) man that climbs up a wooden rod as you swing the weight at the bottom around.
A flower pot with two green leaves poking out of the pot, except they are not leaves, they are the ends of gardener’s socks. I have heard of green fingers, but green socks? I guess this would make a good stocking filler… and from the same company a flower pot with… gardener’s gloves!
A strange water squirter…
Finally, a small calculator. Switch it on and… it turns out it is a trick item, and when you press a key you get squirted with water! Tim loves being the joker…
