In the UK criticism over the editing of a speech by US President Donald Trump in a BBC documentary has grown into a full blown scandal – with two of the Corporation’s top bosses announcing their resignations. The BBC’s Director General Tim Davie and its News CEO Deborah Turness both stepped down over the weekend. The controversy has raised new questions about impartiality at the British public broadcaster.
