From Global News.
The driver of a Mini Cooper involved in a hit-and-run that killed a 56-year-old Mississauga man was seen trying to conceal his license plate shortly after the incident.
Peel Regional Police Constable Mandeep Khatra said, “It’s absolutely unbelievable that the fact that after the collision, the suspect stopped shortly to remove the license plate and conceal that in the vehicle, but did not provide any assistance to the victim at that time.”
“Please do the right thing. Seek legal counsel, speak to a lawyer, and turn yourself in to police, and remember this person who passed away in this very unfortunate and tragic incident also has a family just like yours, just like we all do, and they do expect some closure,” he added.
