Alberta’s proposed free speech law — named after Jordan Peterson — faces pushback

The Alberta government has introduced new legislation that is aimed at how far professional regulators can go in policing what their members say outside of work.

The law is named after psychologist and media personality Jordan Peterson and it claims to give doctors, engineers and other professionals freedom to speak without repercussion.
