Gunmen attacked a church in the Kwara state of Nigeria on Nov. 19, just weeks after President Donald Trump threatened military action over what he alleges is Christian persecution.

The attack came the same week as two mass kidnappings at Nigerian schools, one school predominantly Muslim and the other primarily Catholic.
