Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Pyongyang on March 25 at the invitation of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The Kim family has maintained near‑total control of North Korea since its founding after World War Two and experts say that fear of being seen as anti‑revolutionary drives strong displays of loyalty to the leader.
