RCMP have made an arrest in a highway shooting south of Edmonton that left one man dead.
Three friends were headed to the mountains on the QEII on March 14, when a pickup truck pulled up beside their Honda Civic, and someone inside opened fire.
The driver of the Civic, 22-year-old Birinder Singh, was struck in the neck and later died.
RCMP say 18-year-old Jimmy Gassner was arrested in Canoe Lake, Sask., on Saturday and charged with second-degree murder.
