Thai and Malaysian authorities have recovered at least 13 bodies after a boat, believed to be carrying some 70 migrants, including members of Myanmar’s persecuted Rohingya community capsized and sank on Thursday. The passengers were part of a larger group of around 300, departing Myanmar on a larger vessel before separating onto smaller boats. The fate of at least one them remains unknown.
