A remote community in northern B.C. is reeling after a group of elementary school students on a field trip were attacked by a grizzly bear. It happened on a trail near a school run by the Nuxalk First Nation in the community of Bella Coola. Erin Ubels explains what unfolded in our top story.

The U.S. president gave Kyiv until Thursday, Nov. 27 to accept an American-drafted peace plan for Ukraine. The plan appears to contain significant concessions from Ukraine and economic and military victories for Russia.
