Crews in Bella Coola, B.C., continue to search for a bear and her cubs after Thursday’s attack on school group that sent a teacher and three children to hospital. As the search unfolds, it has sparked new calls to rethink the ban on grizzly bear hunting in Western Canada. Over the last several weeks, there have been other serious encounters between bears and people. But as Heather Yourex-West reports, not everyone believes hunting the animals is the answer.
