Thousands of people lined the streets of Toronto on Sunday, as Santa Claus came to town.

The city celebrated the 121st annual Santa Claus Parade, marking the official start to the holiday season in the city – and many brought their Christmas wish lists, hoping he might just “check it twice.”

Lexy Benedict was in the downtown core for the parade, and experienced the festive spirit first-hand.
