Kenya conservation areas evolve to keep Maasai and wildlife together | AFP

The Nashulai conservancy prides itself on the way the local Maasai people and their livestock live alongside wildlife. Nashulai — which means ‘coexistence’ in Maa, the local language — was founded in 2016, and has allowed the local Maasai community to maintain their way of life alongside the lions, zebras and giraffes for which the region is world-famous.
